The Microscience Microscopy Congress Series is well-known for its huge free microscopy and imaging exhibitionmicroscopy and imaging exhibition that runs alongside the scientific conference. As well as over 100 exhibitors showcasing their latest products and services, the mmc2017 exhibition provides a number of free training opportunities including drop-in commercial workshops, the Learning Zone area with its introductory seminar theatre and a number of free satellite meetings.

The Poster Village
With your free entry, you can view all the submitted posters to the mmc2017 conference spanning all microscopy techniques in life and physical sciences and engineering. The daily poster sessions give you the opportunity to discuss the research with the author in an informal setting.
The industry-led workshops offer insights into imaging techniques and data analysis on a wide range of systems, presented by the company experts. There will be four workshop areas throughout the hall, each with their own daily timetable so there are plenty of workshops to choose from.
The unique, drop-in Learning Zone area is filled with a selection of equipment, with impartial experts on hand to offer advice and answer any questions you may have. The Learning Zone also has its own Seminar Theatre, hosting introductory talks to variety of microscopy techniques.
FIB & EM Prep User Group Meeting – taking place on Tuesday 4 July this meeting will provide an open forum for FIB & EM specimen preparation equipment users to share technique advances, exchange tips for preparation of difficult materials and learn about new developments in both instrumentation and techniques.
NEUBIAS BioImage Analyst Community Meeting - taking place on Wednesday 5 July, this free meeting will explain the aims and activities of the new NEUBIAS network and start to build a coherent UK bioimage analyst community.
BMTA Seminar - for the first time, the British Measurement and Testing Association will be part of mmc2017. Taking place on Thursday 6 July, the ‘Optical Measurements in Industrial Inspection’ seminar will feature speakers from BAE Systems and Intertek. Registration for the seminar is £60 and includes lunch and refreshments. (This is the only paid aspect of the mmc2017 exhibition.)

If you are looking to make a purchase, the mmc2017 allows you to compare all the instruments and suppliers under one roof. A number of service companies and smaller start-ups will also be exhibiting and can offer solutions to many common lab-based issues and tips and techniques to obtain more accurate results even faster.
