Travel Bursaries

HOME CONFERENCE Travel Bursaries

03 - 06 July 2017, Manchester, UK

To assist those starting out in their career, the Royal Microscopical Society offered travel bursaries to students and early career researchers planning to attend mmc2017.

Unfortunately due to high demand, these bursaries are no longer available. The RMS are still offering a limited number of travel bursaries to their members. More information can be found on the RMS website.

There are still a number of £50 exhibition travel bursaries available for day visitors who are just attending the exhibition.

"Broadening my scientific understanding was what I took away the most from the conference. Whether it was new routes for development of my PhD or innovative topics presented by other researchers, I found the whole of mmc2015 to be thoroughly beneficial, worthwhile and enjoyable. Thanks are owed to mmc2015 and RMS for organising the event and assisting with my travel and to UCL for its funding of my PhD."
