Additional Sponsorship Opportunities
Companies who have booked a stand at mmc2025 will also have the chance to build on their presence by choosing additional opportunities to enhance their exposure before and during the event. Opportunities will include company workshops, congress app sponsorship, e-newsletter sponsorship and much more and can be added to your stand booking.

Commercial Workshops at mmc2025
Our hugely popular commercial workshops have proven to be successful vehicles for sponsors to showcase their products and services to a targeted audience at previous mmcs. At mmc2025 in-person commercial workshops return to the exhibition floor. There will be opportunities to present during dedicated slots within the scientific programme from Tuesday 1 July 2025 to Thursday 3 July 2025.
Workshops will be strictly 30 minutes in length and will run back-to-back. In most cases this doesn’t allow for the setup of demonstration equipment. We therefore recommend a PowerPoint presentation. All rooms will be set up theatre-style and will be equipped with a lectern, microphone, projector, screen, laser pointer and laptop with PowerPoint.
There are two types of workshops on offer, Standard and Premium. Standard workshops will be in parallel with the conference sessions in the mornings and afternoons. Premium workshops will take place during the mid-day break.
Standard workshops will be charged at £275.00 + VAT per workshop. There is no limit to the number of standard commercial workshops that you may select. In addition, corporate members can select one complimentary standard workshop with the option to upgrade to a premium workshop for an additional charge of £250.00 + VAT.
Premium workshops are available during the mid-day break on Tuesday 1 July 2025, Wednesday 2 July 2025 and Thursday 3 July 2025 and will be charged at £525.00 + VAT. Please note that the premium workshops are limited to only two bookings per exhibiting company. Any remaining premium workshops will be released and available to all exhibitors in the spring of 2025.
Once your booking has been confirmed you will be sent a link to select your preferred date and time.
Commercial Talks/5-minute Techno Bites
Exhibiting companies will have the opportunity to submit an abstract for a commercial talk/5-minute techno bite through the abstract submission system, by selecting techno bite as the submission type as well as the preferred conference session. This can be a commercially orientated presentations. It is anticipated that the abstract submission process will open in early November. The submitted abstract would be reviewed by the session chairs alongside other submissions. If the abstract is accepted by the session organiser, the submitter will be notified, and an invoice raised for the commercial opportunity.
If you wish to submit an abstract for an academic presentation, this can also be submitted through the abstract system. The abstracts must not be commercial in nature, and they will be reviewed by the session organiser. If successful they will not incur a charge.

Please note that bookings for these additional opportunities will not open until 14:00 (GMT) on Wednesday 6 November 2024. A link to the booking form will be sent out on the morning of this date for companies who have booked an exhibition stand.
If you have received confirmation of your stand allocation, your company representative who made the exhibitor stand booking will be able to log back into their account to select additional items on a first-come/first-served basis.
How to book Additional Sponsorship Opportunities
- Ensure that you have reviewed all the information within this sponsorship prospectus.
- Log back into the RMS website account that you made the stand booking through. This needs to be done by the account holder who made the stand booking which you are adding to.
- Select 'My Account' (green box top right of screen).
- Select 'My Events' from drop down menu.
- Select 'mmc2025: Microscience Microscopy Congress 2025 – Sponsorship Booking' and click on 'View Booking'.
- Select 'Get More Tickets'
- Choose the additional sponsorship opportunities that you wish to add to your booking.
- Submit your booking.
You will receive a booking confirmation on submission. A member of the RMS Events Team will be in touch with further information and an invoice.
