Microscience Microscopy Congress 2023: 4 - 6 July 2023, Manchester Central, UK
The Microscience Microscopy Congress (mmc) was back with a bang in 2023! One of the biggest events of its kind in Europe, mmc2023 incorporating EMAG 2023 brought the very best in microscopy, imaging and cytometry from across the globe. With six parallel conference sessions, a world-class exhibition, workshops, satellite meetings, an international Imaging Competition and more, it was the place to be for anyone who uses a microscope for work, study or pleasure.
Back at the superb Manchester Central conference centre for the first time since 2019, the event took place fully in person, providing the perfect opportunity for the scientific community to come together, make connections and share their research. As always, many of the leading companies in microscopy and imaging were on hand to demonstrate the very latest equipment and technology at the exhibition.

mmc2021 incorporating EMAG 2021 took place virtually for the first time! It was an international scientific virtual conference of six parallel streams, covering an enormous range of microscopy, cytometry and imaging topics. View the abstract database on the dedicated mmc2021 site.
Also included was a huge free to attend virtual exhibition with companies both large and small showcasing their latest equipment and available to answer your questions. As well as virtual meetings & workshops covering the latest emerging topics.

Fun, Friendly, Informative – mmc2017 brought together microscopists from all over the world
Many passionate microscopists made their way to Manchester, to experience a mixture of inspirational talks, practical workshops from experts and engage with a huge number of companies ready to answer questions and present demonstrations at mmc2017
We are proud to have registered over 1340 attendees including 656 full scientific conference delegates and 684 free day visitors who were able to interact with over 130 exhibiting companies, four commercial workshop areas and the brilliant Learning Zone. With many attendees commenting on the great atmosphere and the social hub at Manchester Central mmc2017, as always, presented a great opportunity for informal networking and the chance to share ideas with like-minded individuals using microscopy internationally.
The exciting conference included sessions from Advanced Spectroscopy to Bespoke Light Microscopy for Molecular Level Imaging with inspirational talks such as Combining super-resolution fluorescence and atomic force microscopy and Charting new frontiers in heterogenous catalysis with multi-dimensional electron microscopy.

Over 1300 people flocked to Manchester to see the latest and greatest in microscopy through both the conference and the exhibition.
mmc2015 got off to a busy start with 5 pre-congress workshops covering ImageJ, EELS, AFM, Light Sheet Microscopy and OMERO. The following day saw the opening of the huge exhibition, the display of over 125 posters in the first of two poster sessions (the second of which included a similar number of posters) and the beginning of six parallel conference sessions covering a huge array of microscopy topics which were to continue for the next two days.

The RMS returned to Manchester Central for mmc2014, the Microscience Microscopy Congress built on the success of emc2012 at the same venue. The Conference expanded from the three parallel sessions of MICROSCIENCE to four, and featured the best from both worlds in the microscopical sense –life and physical sciences, & light and electron microscopy.
The Conference ran side-by-side with Europe's largest exhibition of microscopy and imaging equipment, with one hundred companies demonstrating a wide range of equipment and consumables. If this wasn't enough, the event was also packed with training opportunities, workshops, the RMS International Scientific Imaging Competition and many social events
